AYUDA has a proven track record of community involvement and collaborated as demonstrated by Interagency Partnerships that exist with Metro Dade Department of Human Services, Child Development Services, Department of Education, Nutritional Services Division, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and others. These agencies collaborate with AYUDA as education and referral resources for identified high-risk families. AYUDA has found that, when working in unison with these community resources, the agency’s task is easier - to help develop responsible individuals and parents who engage in productive behavior. With AYUDA’S collaborative efforts, family and socio-environmental factors that place children at greater risk for involvement in criminal behavior are addressed for children as early as 4 years of age.
