We offer seniors, age 60 and older and their caregiver’s, services to enhance the quality of their lives, which provide them with the support and security to live independently. Our social worker will make a home visit and an assessment will be administered to evaluate services to be provided. The services consist of:
- Homemaker services
- Gerentological counseling
- Caregiver training and support
- Acess to information and referrals
Our services are provided at the senior’s home or community setting.
We provide caregiver training and support workshops in different senior buildings throughout the Miami Beach area. These workshops are presented by professionals and cover different topics to build awareness and provide greater information and knowledge.
We are able to do this through a grant provided by the Alliance for Aging, are agency for Miami-Dade and Monroe. |
