MIAMI, December 13, 2005 – AYUDA (Adults and Youth who are Underserved Deserve Attention), a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting underserved and/or at-risk families in Miami Dade County, was funded for the Family Empowerment Program to serve children and youth between the ages of nine and 18 referred by Delinquency Prevention Services, Juvenile Assessment Center/Post-Arrest Diversion. The Village’s, Project ARISE, was created to complement the goals of the Family Empowerment Program.

Project ARISE is a 12-week enrichment program which focuses on life management skills and theatrical improve with a goal of providing adolescents with tools and skills to enhance their natural abilities and emphasize positive self identity and self awareness.
